По поводу покушения на депутата Конгресса США Габриэль Гиффордс

Вот эта статья Майка Адамса, пожалуй, лучшее, что я видел на данный момент:

Giffords shooter shows pattern of psychiatric derangement; no clear political affiliation

Фокус статьи - сам главный подозреваемый, Джаред Лоунер, но многие медийные аспекты происходящего разобраны очень, на мой взгляд, правильно.

and just to be fair – Mike Adams is ultra-conservative mouthpiece.

nice choice there to bring some light to the issue.

His choice may have been completely arbitrary. Or - what's not to be discounted - he may have eneded up beinga pawn at somebody else's beck and call as people like that are often quite easily manipulated.

I wouldn't call him ultra-conservative. His healthcare ideas are those requiring a radical reform, if anything. In fact - well, the term has been perverted many times, to be sure - but I don't think he fits the definition of conservative at all.

Quoting a NaturalNews daily mailing I just got from Adams:

I know Giffords personally and spent time with her as part of her first-term election campaign (I lived in her district in Tucson for several years). In no way did she deserve this act of extreme violence carried about by an individual who clearly suffers from mental illness.

The mainstream media immediatly latched onto this story and tried to say the shooter was some sort of anti-government nut. He was a nut alright, who rambled unintelligibly about burning the American flag, sleepwalking through life and being visited by colorful birds sitting on his shoulder.

He was not, however, overtly affiliated with any political part or philosophy.

Would an ultra-conservative work on Rep. Gifford's campaign?

>>spent time with her as part of her first-term election

“spent time” i don’t know what that means.
when people work for somebody, and they are proud of it,
they say so straight up.

he works here now “your Source for Conservative News”

1) In my opinion "spent time with her as part of her first-term election campaign" means "participated in the campaign.

2) As far as I know townhall.com is not really an employer in the classical sense. I don't believe the columnists there get paid.

3) Mike Adams who published on townhall.com appears to be a different person from this Mike Adams. See:

Common first name, common last name, no mystery.

if it's 2 different Mikes, then they must be twins
'cause they look exactly the same.
no mystery it is

There are some facial similarities, I'd give you that much. But that is likely where the similarities end.

do you?;)

I am sorry, I have a bit of an idea about both. Mike Adams The Health Ranger is somebody I have been reading for month. Can't say I agree with all - or even most - of what he is saying but a lot of it makes a lot of sense. Plus, I can tell he is a good man.

As for the Townhall's Mike Adams - never heard of him before today. Glanced over the titles of his articles - can't say I am all that eager to read them. Very different topics, etc. from what The Health Ranger is writing about, too.
